Please be advised that the signage for the Commercial Vehicle Lane has been removed at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. If you are looking to ride the Airport Link, follow the curbside signage for the Sun Trolley.
Step 1 – Stow Your Luggage. Find a Bags to Go Kiosk (located near baggage claim in each terminal). For a fee they will store your bags for you. Visit the Bags to Go website in advance of your trip to make reservations, as they have a tendency to fill up, especially during Fort Lauderdale’s peak tourist season (October – April).
Step 2 – Download the Tracker App. Download the FREE Sun Trolley Tracker App on your iPhone or Android device. This will allow you to track the trolley in real-time while you explore Fort Lauderdale!
Step 3 – Board the FREE Sun Trolley. The Sun Trolley stops in the passenger pick-up area located in between the terminals. The Sun Trolley is not permitted to pick up passengers curbside in arrivals where passenger vehicles pick up passengers. To board the Sun Trolley, stand in the commercial vehicle passenger pick up area located in between terminals 1 & 2, 2 & 3 or 3 & 4. The Sun Trolley picks up passengers from the airport on the hour.
Step 4 – Explore Fort Lauderdale! The Airport Link Sun Trolley will drop off at 219 SW 2nd Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301 in the Downtown Himmarshee Village. From there, you can walk to Las Olas Boulevard (about a 10 minute walk) or you can catch the Sun Trolley’s Las Olas Link. The Las Olas Link Route runs along SW 2nd Street, down Las Olas Boulevard to Fort Lauderdale Beach. The Las Olas Link and Beach Link is $1 per ride or $3 all day.
