The Sun Trolley is administered by the Downtown Fort Lauderdale TMA (Transportation Management Association), which is a 501(C) 3 non-profit organization. Our TMA has been serving residents and visitors to the Fort Lauderdale area with community transportation since 1992.
We inspire moments of fun, spark economic vitality, and support our local community by providing nostalgic and charming transportation options where and when they are desired by residents and guests throughout Greater Fort Lauderdale.
To be the top-of-mind transportation choice with a reputation for strong regional connectivity, forward-leaning technology, and fun experiences.
The Downtown Fort Lauderdale Transportation Management Association (DFLTMA) has been providing community transportation in the City of Fort Lauderdale since 1992. The DFLTMA started out by using Lolly the Trolley and then small buses, known as TMax and City Cruiser to provide transit service to visitors and residents. Those small buses were eventually replaced by the shiny red and yellow Sun Trolleys which we all recognize today as part of the uniqueness and beauty of our great City of Fort Lauderdale.
